Invite Slovak tango DJs and orchestras to your milongas!
In Slovakia there are several good quality tango DJs and tango orchestras who occasionally perform even abroad, and it may be an interesting idea to consider inviting them to perform at your milongas.
There are about 15-20 people in Slovakia who do DJing. Most of them play music at their own local milonga. However, we have several skilled DJs who are invited to play at milongas held abroad. List of Tango DJs is in construction
Particularly in Bratislava there are based several music groups that give concerts occasionally, Argentine tango makes a significant part in their music repertoire. Most of these groups specialize in Astor Piazzolla musical compositions and/or other similar composers of more complex styles which are suitable for listening. There are about 2-3 orchestras that offer good quality production and there are enough compositions/pieces of music in their repertoire suitable also for dancing.

Would you like to DJ-ing, perform or give a workshop in Slovakia?
Are you a tango DJ or a music group (tango orchestra) and would you like to perform in Slovakia? Or are you a tango teacher and would you like to give a workshop in Slovakia? We are looking forward to seeing your interest. Even in Slovakia there are several tango DJs and tango orchestras that perform occasionally abroad. Similarly, at some Slovak milongas there are guest DJs and orchestras coming from abroad or guest tango teachers who lead here their workshops.
Possibilities: We suppose it might be suitable to clarify that the Slovak tango community is still relatively small and the number of milonga dancers and visitors is not high. The possibility for hosting foreign DJs, musicians and teachers are therefore limited. Despite this fact, we are still able to organize several bigger tango events and we have several experienced organizers, therefore you might definitely want to ask us about possibilities to cooperate.
Tips how to do it: You might send your question or your offer to the team of TangoArgentino.sk portal and we will send it to schools and milongas via an internal mailing list. Another option is that you can send it independently to particular milonga organizers or tango schools (lists are provided in the Slovak language). You might have a look at the milongas ´calendar in order to check suitable dates.
Other forms of cooperation (vendors, event agencies, travel agencies, etc.): you may contact us also in case you are an event agency or a travel agency and you want to give a tango performance, or a concert and make it part of your programme. You may also contact us if you organize tango trips to other countries or if you are a producer or vendor of tango clothes, shoes and accessories.
